Users are currently able to group entities together into larger collections (e.g. Employees may be grouped into Teams), and create relationships from events to both individual people and teams. However, relationships to parent items are not fully reflected throughout the interface, such as when applying filters.

This feature would add settings to determine whether entity types  inherit relationships from their parents (e.g. if I say a Character Group witnessed an event, it means everyone in the group saw it) or their children (e.g. if an individual member of Team X is associated with a task, it means that Team X is associated with the task).
